The new PostNet location in New York opened on December 6 in the Bronx, and is the second center for franchise owner Calvin Thomas, who prior to becoming a small business owner had an honorable career as a police officer in the same neighborhood where his PostNet locations are now open. His first PostNet center was also featured on Season 4 of the popular CBS reality series Undercover Boss.

The second PostNet to open in December is the first for entrepreneur Tammy Salter, who  opened her center in Hurst, Texas on the 7th of the month. Prior to becoming a PostNet franchise owner, Tammy was a store manager at an Office Depot located in the Dallas-Fort Worth-metropolitan area.
