PostNet Franchise Unveils New Point-of-Sale Technology Solution for Franchisees
New POS software will increase speed and efficiency of operations at franchise locations across North America
PostNet — the chain of Neighborhood Business Centers that provides printing, shipping and marketing solutions for small businesses and consumers — is deploying the ShipRite Global Connect point-of-sale (POS) software in all 260 of its North American centers.
“Today’s consumers and businesses demand speed, convenience, and reliability. To fulfill this demand, we have invested in new technology, like the ShipRite software, to streamline workflow processes for our franchisees so they can operate more efficiently and enhance our customer experience even more,” says Brian Spindel, President and Co-Founder of PostNet.
PostNet franchisees make life easier for local businesses by providing personalized, business-enhancing print, marketing and shipping solutions that help them reach and win more customers. The range of services our centers offer makes them unique, as does the personal business relationship that franchisees are able to offer fellow entrepreneurs in their communities.
The ShipRite platform offers advanced functionality, an intuitive touch-screen interface, a clean database structure, and quick transaction speed. In addition, PostNet’s customized ShipRite software will integrate with a sophisticated online print ordering system, which will enable franchisees with e-commerce to grow their business.
ShipRite can give PostNet franchisees an edge in the marketplace
The user-friendly ShipRite application, which is designed to look like a standard electronic cash register, includes unlimited shortcut buttons for departments and/or items, credit card processing, multi-carrier retail shipping, mailbox rental, Quickbooks integration, sales reporting, customer loyalty program features, flexible discounting and coupon management, inventory tracking, and online backup and restoration.
“We were pleased to have been selected as PostNet’s newest technology partner and are looking forward to growing our company alongside them,” says J. Mark Ford, president and founder of ShipRite. “Linking our client-server application with a cloud-based print shop is forward-edge development. It will give PostNet franchisees a definitive edge in the marketplace and demonstrate our programming capabilities.”
To date, PostNet has nearly 700 centers open across 10 countries. Domestically, PostNet has expanded in Atlanta; San Antonio; San Diego; Winston-Salem, N.C.; Washington D.C.; Minneapolis; Dallas and Orlando this year, and the brand is targeting Europe, Asia and Mexico for international growth.
