PostNet Franchise Honors Owners for Community Involvement

The nation’s leading design, printing and shipping franchise awards longtime franchisees for their efforts to take a meaningful role in their community

PostNet may be a nationally recognized brand, but all of of our franchise locations in the United States are locally owned and operated by entrepreneurs who play in a meaningful role in their communities. Not only are PostNet franchise centers an important hub for small business owners who are looking for solutions and services to help their brands grow, our franchisees are constantly pounding the pavement in their communities, attending networking events and joining the boards of local nonprofits.

Every year at Thrive, PostNet’s annual franchise conference, the leading design, printing and shipping franchise honors a franchisee for going above and beyond in their community outreach. This year, the Community Involvement Award was awarded to John and Andrea DiVecchio, owners of the PostNet franchise in Shorewood, Illinois for their commitment to being a cornerstone of their community.

The DiVecchios and their staff have worked relentlessly to develop deep roots in their community, supporting a variety of local businesses, charities and events. Each year, they sponsor the annual Pasting Eating Contest at Festa Italiana, donate a huge coloring banner to the Crossroads Festival Kid Zone to bring together the community, and take part in the Party in the Park every Thursday night from June through August. Their PostNet business also serves as a year-round collection center for Operation Care Package, collecting items to be sent to active duty military overseas.

“I feel that when you give of yourself, the greatest reward is doing something positive for someone else,” Andrea says. “I think that the success of our business is just a byproduct of this.”
