PostNet Brings New Franchise Location to Concord, California

Top-rated print, design and shipping franchise opens new location in California, continuing rapid expansion across the U.S. and around the world

PostNet prides itself on connecting small businesses in their communities to each other and to the outside world, and the opening of a new location in Concord, California, gives the small business community in the East Bay suburb a leg up.

Alex-Lozada

Franchise owner Alex Lozada has opened a new PostNet in Concord, California.

The news was recently featured in Concord Patch, a hyper-local news organization that published an article entitled, “PostNet Neighborhood Business Center to Serve Local Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses.”

“Local entrepreneur Alex Lozada is on a mission to help Concord’s small businesses with the opening of a new PostNet Neighborhood Business Center,” the article states. “Lozada and the PostNet staff take a consultative approach to marketing, working closely with each client to identify their objectives, build upon their ideas and develop the best solutions to meet their needs. This includes everything from designing and printing custom invitations or signage for an important company event to helping create a brand image for a new or existing business looking to re-invent itself.”

The article features an interview with Alex, who became a design, printing and shipping franchise owner after retiring from a career as a registered nurse. The article shows Alex’s ambition to help spur growth in the businesses surrounding his location:

“Whether local entrepreneurs are looking for printing, shipping or graphic design support, PostNet is filling the void for convenient services that are essential to the success of small businesses,” Alex says in the article. “I look forward to working with the community and supporting the growth of Concord businesses.”

PostNet franchise rapidly grows across the United States

The success of the PostNet business model is that it provides printing, shipping and marketing solutions that help clients reach and win more customers anywhere in the world. The range of services we offer makes us unique, as do the personal business relationships that our franchisees are able to offer fellow entrepreneurs in their communities.

“Our franchise partners understand the challenges and opportunities that are unique to small businesses in their communities because they are small business owners themselves,” says Steve Greenbaum, co-founder and CEO of PostNet in the Concord Patch article. “Of course there are other providers that design, print and ship, but it’s our culture — the guidance and direction we provide small-business owners and the ongoing partnerships we build with customers — that makes the difference.”

PostNet has been helping small businesses grow since we began franchising in 1993. Of our 700 locations around the world, approximately 260 locations are in the United States. Heading into 2016, PostNet has ambitious plans to add 200 U.S. franchise locations to its network over the next five years, a move that would propel the company’s footprint to nearly 900 locations across 10 countries. The brand currently has franchise opportunities across the U.S. in markets such as Boston, New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Minneapolis, Nashville, Seattle, Phoenix and San Diego, among others.

PostNet shipping franchise grows around the world

While franchise locations in the United States are a critical part of our business, international development also has been a key driver of PostNet’s franchise growth.

According to the Small Business Administration, some 7 million of the 10.9 million jobs added since the Great Recession were created by startups and small enterprises, which our PostNet franchise owners support.

PostNet has more than 400 franchise locations overseas, including South Africa, Brazil, Canada, Australia and Panama, and continues to partner with strong Master Franchise partners to penetrate untapped international markets. Its partnerships with international logistics companies and its expertise at the retail level allow PostNet to meet consumer needs anywhere.

“In today’s global marketplace, I see tremendous opportunity for the PostNet franchise to really spread its wings,” added co-founder and President Brian Spindel. “If we find the right partners, there is no reason we couldn’t have well over 1,000 units internationally here in the near future.”

Adding to the momentum behind the brand, PostNet recently struck a deal with Aramex, a leading provider of logistics and comprehensive transportation solutions, to grow the brand in South Africa, where PostNet already has a strong foothold. With 287 centers serving more than 55,000 customers daily, the PostNet shipping franchise is South Africa’s largest privately owned counter network in the printing and shipping industry. Looking ahead, our sights are set on PostNet international franchise growth in Europe, Asia and Panama, and a possible entry into India in 2016.
